LINDALE, Texas (KLTV) - The Lindale ISD Board of Trustees lowered the district's tax rate by more than five cents during a special called meeting Monday.

The board adopted a total tax rate of $0. 8811 per $100 valuation, a savings of $0. 0568 per $100 valuation from the previous year.

Over the past six years, the district has lowered its total tax rate by more than 28 cents, according to a press release.
