The Cailloux Theater in downtown Kerrville will host country singer and storyteller Jake Hoot, the Season 17 winner of NBC's "The Voice," at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Hoot, who won "The Voice: Battle of Champions" in April, has launched a new national tour that will make a one-night-only stop in Kerrville this weekend.

He describes himself as "a storyteller with a six-string." He is known for his rich tone, his down-to-earth persona and collaborative hits such as "I Would Have Loved You" with Kelly Clarkson and "Wherever Time Goes" with his wife, Brittney.
