TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Tyler Police Officer Josiah Baxter is recovering from serious injuries after a speeding driver slammed into his patrol car while he was on routine patrol Friday, according to Tyler Police Chief Toler.
Baxter suffered a broken hip, arm, ribs and collarbone, along with a spinal fracture.
He had to be cut from the wreckage.
