ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - First Alert 7will be LIVE following the honor escort for Odessa FireRescue firefighter/paramedicEric Handlin on Monday, Sept. 14.

Motorists should expect temporary traffic delays as an honor escort is held for Odessa Fire Rescue 25-year veteran firefighter/paramedic Eric Handlin.

The honor escort will depart Odessa Fire Rescue Fire House 8 at 301 E. Yukon Road at around 8:45 a.m. and travel to First Baptist Church at 709 N. Lee Ave. The procession will follow this route:Fire House 8 onto Yukon RoadYukon Road to Andrews HighwayAndrews Highway to 8th Street8th Street to Washington StreetWashington Street to 7th Street7th Street to the entrance of First Baptist ChurchMembers of the public are welcome and encouraged to safely gather along the honor escort route to pay their respects to Handlin as the procession passes.
