TYLER, Texas - Community leaders are using music to drive downtown revitalization, launching the inaugural Brick Street Revival festival in downtown Tyler.

Ticket sales have drawn attendees from across the state, according to Tyler Chamber of Commerce COO Grant Ingram."We're actually seeing ticket sales coming in for not just Tyler and Smith County, but we have guests that are traveling in from Houston, from Fort Worth, from the Metroplex, from Waco," Ingram said.

Festival designed to support downtown businessesIngram said the event is intended to boost local shops and restaurants as part of a broader downtown revitalization effort."I know there's a lot of collaborative efforts that are going into programming here on the downtown square, really just to breathe life back into our downtown," Ingram said.
