Communities in Schools of South Central Texas will provide students with various supplies following another successful Pack the Bus supply drive, ensuring they have what they need to succeed in the classroom.

On Saturday, CIS representatives gathered at area H-E-Bs to collect supplies such as backpacks, notebooks, folders and hygiene items.

Marketing and Events Manager Christine Watson said this year's drive yielded significantly more donations than previous years, and she estimates the drive brought in more than 1,000 donations.
