BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - A record-setting rollout of the Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) program has thousands of local families charting new educational paths, but state funding looks vastly different depending on where those students learn.
Under the newly minted state-funded voucher program, eligible private school students receive up to $10,474 annually.
Homeschooled participants, by comparison, are capped at a maximum of $2,000 per year.
