(KGNS) - A grand jury has indicted four people in connection with a vehicle title fraud scheme in Webb County.

The grand jury indicted 26-year-old Anabell Rivera, 22-year-old Abelardo Rivera III, 40-year-old Reyna Trevino and 62-year-old Nora Rivera.

Investigators with the Laredo Police Auto Theft Task Force and the 49th District Attorney's Office said the suspects used altered paperwork to avoid paying required vehicle taxes and title fees.
