Uvalde County commissioners unanimously voted to reverse a decision denying a part-time staff member for the County's veterans office at an Aug. 24 meeting.

For the past 16 years, Everardo Zamora has been the only staff member for the county's veterans office, in charge of offering assistance with benefits, reimbursement forms and other financial resources.
