No children were on board when a Comal Independent School District bus was involved in a traffic accident with an 18-wheeler on Thursday morning.

The New Braunfels Police Department shared in a social media post that as of 8:55 a.m., Altgelt Lane between Wald Road and Loop 337 remained closed following the incident.

Drivers should expect continued traffic delays in the area.
