Fatal crash involving semi-truck, pickup closes W Mount Houston Road

A fatal crash involving a semi-truck and pickup truck closed West Mount Houston Road in northwest Harris County early Saturday morning, with the pickup driver killed in the collision.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - The Harris County Sheriff's Office is responding to a fatal crash involving a semi-truck and pickup truck in northwest Harris County.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the crash happened in the 2600 block of West Mount Houston Road (249) early Saturday morning.

Authorities said the driver of the pickup died.
