GAINESVILLE, Texas (KXII) - The start of the school year is a bit different than usual for students and staff at Gainesville's Edison Elementary School."We're in a different building," said a 1st grade student.
Two weeks before the first bell, a teacher spotted a problem while decorating, mold."I made the decision to then shut down the entire campus because if we have mold in, it was at that time six classes, there's more than likely a chance we have mold in other classes," said Gainesville ISD Superintendent Dr. Demontes Stewart.
After testing, the district discovered that 37 out of 45 classes had mold.
