COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth will travel to Austin and College Station on Friday as part of his "Arsenal of Freedom" and "Send Me" outreach tours, according to a Defense Department announcement.

In Austin, Hegseth is scheduled to visit tech incubator Capital Factory and defense manufacturer Saronic Technologies to meet with corporate leadership and speak with workers.

He will also administer the oath of enlistment to incoming military recruits at the Austin Armed Forces Reserve Center.
