ALAMO HEIGHTS, Texas - "Height(s) Matters" has become a rallying cry for a group of neighbors along Arcadia Place, Grandview Place and Cleveland Court.

The slogan isn't about the importance of the city, Alamo Heights, but rather its city code, which dictates the maximum height of buildings.

Developer EMBREY Partners has proposed building a five-story apartment complex directly across the street from the neighbors, some of whose homes have been around for more than a century.
