GORDONVILLE, Texas (KXII) - A Gordonville family watched their property burn Thursday afternoon after Grayson County fire officials say a neighbor ignored the countywide burn ban currently in effect.

The county fire marshal told KXII that a neighbor sparked a burn barrel, which is illegal under the burn ban that has been in effect for the past month.

-Lewis's boyfriend and 13-year-old son were home at the time."My son called me and told me my property was on fire," Lewis said.
