(WBRC/Gray News) - An older brother's bone marrow donation will offer a second chance at life for his 9-year-old sister, who has sickle cell disease.
Alexa Turner, a 9-year-old student at Thompson Intermediate School, is dealing with more than homework.
Her 13-year-old brother, Amari Rose, is a bone marrow match for a transplant surgery set for January.
