HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The Houston Police Department said it is looking for a driver who left a dead passenger behind in a crash while fleeing from police on Saturday morning in northeast Houston.

Officials said a Galena Park Police Department officer attempted to pull over the speeding driver around 3 a.m. on the 2200 block of Clinton Drive.

First responders told ABC13 they believe the driver was traveling at least 80mph at times during the pursuit.
