Provided by Lubbock ChamberLUBBOCK, Texas (NEWS RELEASE) - This afternoon, local businesses were recognized at the 27th annual Hub City BBQ Cookoff, presented by West Texas Land Guys and Coors Light, for the best barbeque in the Lubbock area.

Sixty cook teams competed in five cookoff categories: Chilton, Pork Ribs, Brisket, Dessert, and a Cook's Choice Challenge.

All competition meat was provided by the official grocer, United Supermarkets.
