AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - An Amarillo man is in custody following a police chase that began in Amarillo and ended in Hale County Sunday night.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says the chase began around 8:30 p.m. inside Amarillo when troopers were asked to assist by Amarillo police.

The driver continued south on I-27 through Randall, Swisher and Hale counties with agencies from each county assisting in the chase.
