A Galena Park ISD middle school is starting the new school year with an A rating from the Texas Education Agency, as state leaders prepare to highlight the district's performance in the newly released 2026 accountability ratings.
Woodland Acres Middle School earned an A with an overall score of 92 out of 100 in the 2026 A-F accountability system, according to TEA data reviewed Friday.
The campus also earned all seven distinction designations available to it, recognizing performance in several academic areas and measures.
