There are no changes to the mail-in ballot voting system, local election officials confirmed after the U.S. Supreme Court shot down an effort from President Donald Trump's administration to place restrictions on mail-in voting.

Ballots should be mailed out next week, and the elections coordinator for Comal County said voters should not be concerned.

"Now that it's settled, everybody should settle down and not worry," Cynthia Jaqua said.
