Granger Lions varsity football defeated the Moody Bearcats 58-14 in their first district game on Friday, Sept. 25.

This is the first meeting between the two since 2015, where Granger visited and fell to the Bearcats 46-36. The Lions took charge immediately, outscoring the visitors 37-0 going into halftime.

After a Granger touchdown and a pick six opened the third, Moody put themselves on the board 51-8 with a 2-point conversion following a rushing touchdown.
