Bell County landowners, lawmakers push back on proposed 765-kV transmission line

BELL COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) - A proposed 765-kilovolt transmission line is drawing opposition from both landowners and state legislators.

The line would stretch nearly 200 miles across Central and West Texas, going over homes, schools, rivers and state parks.

For the last four decades John Burrow has called Bell County home.
