HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- After losing the budget battle, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo is eyeing the November elections and said she won't be supporting one of her democratic colleagues.

Last week, after one of the largest tax rate increases in recent county history passed, Hidalgo encouraged people to vote.

"As the composition of the court changed, I'm afraid it has put the county down a problematic financial path," Hidalgo said.
