GALVESTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Several emergency crews responded to a fire at a recycling facility in Galveston on Friday morning, according to authorities.
The Galveston Fire Department said crews were called out to the facility located at 702 61st Street at about 11:30 a.m. Officials said the fire involved a metal debris pile at the recycling facility.
Galveston FD said that multiple crews responded to the scene and are using a backhoe to separate debris and flatten out the pile.
