BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Peacock Legacy of Hope, a nonprofit based in Bryan/College Station is hosting a banquet to help raise funds for its mission of helping single mothers in the area.

"We're a development program where the moms actually live with us for the two years," Ministry Director Abbie Ferguson said.

The group works with those mothers through a number of programs, including career guidance, financial skills and support groups for other single moms in the community.
