The city of Kerrville has adopted updated building and construction codes, city officials said in a recent news release.

The city said the update is part of its commitment to promoting safe, resilient and responsible development.

Beginning in January 2027, the city will move from the 2018 International Codes and 2017 National Electrical Code to the 2024 International Codes and 2023 National Electrical Code.
