PARIS, Texas (KXII) - A U.S. Postal Service worker was airlifted to a Plano hospital with serious injuries Wednesday afternoon following a three-vehicle collision on FM 195. Officers responded to the major traffic crash in the 3600 block of FM 195 at around 1:04 p.m. Wednesday.

According to the Paris Police Department, a white minivan traveling northbound on FM 195 rear-ended the postal service SUV as the carrier was attempting to turn onto North Hills Road while delivering mail.

The impact forced the postal SUV into the oncoming southbound lane, where it was struck by an oncoming pickup truck towing a trailer.
