TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Dillard's, Inc. is transferring its primary stock exchange listings from the New York Stock Exchange to the newly formed Texas Stock Exchange, according to a Friday news release.

The voluntary listing transfer applies to Dillard's common stock and the capital securities of Dillard's Capital Trust I. Both securities will cease trading on the NYSE at the close of regular market trading on Friday, Oct. 2, and begin trading as primary listings on the TXSE when markets open Monday, Oct. 5. Both listings will keep their existing ticker symbols.

Shareholders and securityholders do not need to take any action in connection with the transition, according to the release.
