Three New Braunfels residents have been named 2026 Living Legends of New Braunfels.

Benno Engel, Teresa Johnson and David Lamon were announced Wednesday as this year's award recipients.

For 25 years, the Braunfels Foundation Trust has recognized up to three Living Legends of New Braunfels per year for their years of dedicated support to the people, institutions and history of the community.
