Oak Wilt and Tree Care Program set for Aug. 21

A community program in Fredericksburg on August 21 will educate landowners and homeowners about identifying and managing oak wilt, a destructive Texas tree disease, along with best practices for shade tree care.

Oak wilt, one of Texas' most destructive tree diseases, causes distinctive discoloration in live oak leaves.

An Aug. 21 program in Fredericksburg will provide landowners, homeowners and arborists with the latest information on identifying and managing the disease, along with best practices for shade tree care.
