BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - For generations, the Cat in the Hat has been a mischievous but harmless children's character.

Now, that same image is showing up somewhere else - in social media videos threatening violence against schools.

Parents at A&M Consolidated High School got the heads up this week: an email warning them that a video was circulating online showing the Cat in the Hat making threats against their campus.
