BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - he City of Bryan and the Bryan Police Department say the city has seen a significant long-term drop in crime, even as the population has grown substantially over the past three decades.

According to a press release from the city, Bryan recorded an all-time high of 4,889 major crimes - known as UCR Part I offenses - in 1991.

By 2025, that number had fallen to 1,286, a reduction of nearly 74%.
