TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - SMU quarterback Kevin Jennings has been named the Week 1 Player of the Week for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award, the organization announced Wednesday.

Jennings played high school football at South Oak Cliff.

Jennings was 26 of 36 for 430 yards and 3 touchdowns in SMU's 27-24 win over Florida State on Monday night.
