A 65-year-old New Braunfels man was arrested Monday and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated kidnapping and interference with a 911 call.

New Braunfels Police Department officers were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of Stone Point for a domestic disturbance at approximately 2:30 a.m., where they determined that Lee Michael Skeins had restricted an adult female from leaving a residence, had taken her cell phone away to prevent her from calling 911 and had pointed a firearm at her while threatening to kill her, according to NBPD.

Skeins was arrested without incident and transported to the Guadalupe County jail.
