The Bangs Lady Dragons placed fifth as a team at the Ballinger Invitational cross country meet Wednesday morning, garnering 170 points.

The Lady Dragons trailed only Irion County (47), Eula (105), Menard (156) and Miles (168).

Leading the charge for Bangs was Adalynne Stephens in sixth place in a time of 12:48. 26, along with Kylee Newton (30th, 14:20. 94), Railey James (33rd, 14:27. 34), Emily Griffin (41st, 14:37. 75), Elizabeth Barnett (64th, 15:27. 37), Marit Gregory (66th, 15:31. 93), Ariana Garcia (75th, 15:53. 65), and Autumn Hunt (78th, 16:03. 75).
