Guadalupe County Sheriff's deputies shot and killed a man who was reportedly holding a woman at knifepoint early Thursday morning, authorities said.

Deputies were called about 2:43 a.m. to the 400 block of Hurst Lane for a reported disturbance, Guadalupe County Sheriff's Lt. Zachary McBride said.
