HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman and her son are facing felony charges after court documents contend they "obtained and exercised control" over an older woman's home and bank account through the use of fraudulent documents.

Records obtained by ABC13 show that Tiffany Larke Thomas and Malik Slone were arrested and charged with felony exploitation of an elderly individual, forgery, and theft.

According to court documents, they obtained 87-year-old Jennie Hitt's home for only $10 in November 2025.
