Webb County commissioners to consider rural healthcare access, constable gear and arena zone

Webb County commissioners will meet Monday to discuss healthcare access improvements, law enforcement equipment, and economic development initiatives including a tuition reimbursement agreement for a phlebotomy technician certification.

(KGNS) - Webb County commissioners are scheduled to meet Monday, Sept. 28, to discuss agenda items addressing healthcare access, law enforcement equipment, and regional economic development.

The court will consider approving a tuition reimbursement agreement for a Webb County Public Health employee to complete a certified phlebotomy technician program.

The certification is intended to bring laboratory drawing services directly to rural residents at the Bruni Public Health Clinic.
