HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A man died in the hospital after a rollover crash on US-90 in east Harris County on Sunday morning, authorities said.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to a major crash near 20700 US-90 at about 4:05 a.m. Investigators said initial information indicates that the driver, identified as 40-year-old Paul Escobar, was driving eastbound in a 2020 Toyota Camry when he failed to stay in a single lane and left the roadway.

Escobar's vehicle then hit a guardrail, followed by a cement wall, authorities said.
