Mercedes temporarily shuts off water for part of city

The city of Mercedes will temporarily shut off water to part of the city Friday night for four hours starting at 7 p.m. for scheduled maintenance.

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) - The city of Mercedes said some residents may experience low to no water pressure for a few hours Friday night due to a scheduled shut-off.

The city said the shut-off started at 7 p.m. and will last four hours.
