WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A Baylor University starting defensive lineman was in a McLennan County courtroom Friday, but not as a criminal defendant.

Jamaal Whyce Jr. appeared in 414th State District Court as the victim of an alleged domestic violence case to support the defendant - his fiance and the mother of his two children.

Whyce's fiance, Donnaysia Walker, was arrested July 16 on a state jail felony endangering a child charge and a Class A misdemeanor assault family violence count in an incident involving Whyce and their children at their Woodway residence on Cold Water Drive.
