(KGNS) - The Webb County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit seized approximately 1. 81 pounds of cocaine and $40,384 while executing a search warrant at a home in the 2800 block of Caoba Street, according to the sheriff's office.

The operation, conducted with assistance from the Texas Department of Public Safety, stemmed from an ongoing narcotics investigation, authorities said.

During the search, investigators encountered Alexis Rodriguez and David DeLeon.
