While participating in both orchestra and wrestling keeps senior Kade Stratton extremely busy, he knows his efforts are worth it, because the activities have taught him how to be a leader, overcome adversity and effectively practice various skills, he said.

Stratton first discovered orchestral music while he was homeschooled in fourth and fifth grade, he said.

When he returned to public school in sixth grade, he became curious about joining the orchestra class and decided to play the cello.
