New video released by the San Antonio Police Department on Tuesday shows a person of interest in connection with a downtown shooting that left a man dead.

Officers responded to the shooting just before 5 a.m. Aug. 30 in the 600 block of Hemisfair Plaza Way.

When they arrived, police said they found Jonathan Alderete, 35, with a gunshot wound.
