(KGNS) - The city of Laredo marked National Breastfeeding Month with a ceremony at City Hall, bringing together healthcare professionals, community leaders and advocates to highlight the health benefits of breastfeeding for mothers and infants.

The event was held in City Hall Chambers, where officials emphasized the lifelong health benefits breastfeeding can provide for both mothers and children.
