The city of New Braunfels will begin their annual series of meetings and presentations regarding the upcoming fiscal year's budget next week, according to a press release.

"Each year, the city of New Braunfels develops a budget that outlines how resources will be allocated to maintain services, fund new initiatives and support the priorities of the community," the release stated.

"The process involves months of analysis and discussion, including a review of departmental needs, city funds, projected revenues and the proposed tax rate." Over the next month, the city council will host several meetings, offering residents an opportunity to learn more about the proposed budget, ask questions and hear directly from city staff about planned initiatives.
