The Westbury High School homecoming football game scheduled for Saturday has been canceled following Friday's deadly shooting of a senior student near campus.

In a message to families, Principal Adrea Alexander says campus administration is working to reschedule the game and will share updates with families and students once those plans are finalized.

The cancelation comes after Westbury High School senior LePaul Warren was shot and killed just steps from the school campus on Friday.
