The City of Tyler has implemented a new digital parking payment system called HONK, effective October 12, charging $2 for two hours with additional hours available at $1 per hour to support downtown business traffic.

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - The City of Tyler has announced it plans to re-establish an enforced parking protocol through a digital payment app.
The app, called HONK, will go into effect Oct. 12.
According to the city's news release, parking will be $2 for a two-hour session, with the option to add one additional hour at $1 per hour.
