President Donald Trump returned to Texas on Oct. 1 to promote his administration's economic policies and urge Texans to vote for Attorney General Ken Paxton for the Senate in November.

The speech, which began an hour late and lasted about an hour, was directed to a crowd of Peterbilt workers.

The president quickly veered off the topic of economic wins to address Texas' Senate race and the president's usual slew of topics like the war in Iran, immigration, "men in women's sports" and Democrats' claims about climate change.
